Business Advisory Solutions Group (BASG) is actively searching for Senior Organizational Change Managers for upcoming consulting roles at a major Client. This position is responsible for embedding organizational change management practices in the projects and business strategy to achieve the desired business outcomes.
This role is responsible for leading, directing, coordinating, and providing visibility into the organization’s organizational change management. The candidate needs to have significant experience in creating change management strategies.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Employ a structured change management methodology to create conditions for a smooth transition to change and promote maximum enthusiasm to adapt to the change.
- Assess the magnitude of change and the organization’s change readiness, including resource availability.
- Conduct thorough methodological investigations to identify key stakeholders impacted by the change.
- Oversee awareness planning to ensure all affected team members and stakeholders are fully aware of the impending changes.
- Promote the business vision with a benefit framework that links adoption to change to successful project delivery and business outcome.
- Identify “landmines” and potential points of resistance and develop counter-strategies to mitigate or minimize potential resistance.
- Provide ongoing coaching and mentoring around good change management practices.
- Solicit feedback to assess the success of the change management activities and behavior changes to effectively reinforce any implemented changes.
- Lead the establishment of a network of change agents where appropriate, and leverage trusted informal leaders to create understanding among employees and influence successful organizational change.
- Consider/suggest updates to strategic plans and seek input from various leaders to gain insight.
- Support Technology Steering Committee, developing agenda and content, timely topics, and overall maturation of the committee and its purpose.
- This position may have supervisory responsibilities. Given that the position may manage a small team, the candidate should direct the work of and oversee development of team member(s). Foster professional growth and specialization and mature the team’s capabilities.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s in Business Administration or related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Experience working in banking
- Organizational development, project management, change management, change leadership training and/or certification is highly desirable.
- Good working knowledge of industry-standard project management methodologies and project life cycles highly desirable.
- ITIL knowledge and certification preferred.
EXPERIENCE
- Minimum of five years’ experience in a Change Management or Communications role.
- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft and Adobe products
- Excellent verbal communications and collaboration skills
- Supervisory experience desired
