BASG Helps Mature Payment Operations Model

SCOPE OF ENGAGEMENT

A nationwide financial services organization was looking to create a more mature Payment Operations Model.

THE SOLUTION

Partnering with internal staff, BASG began by developing an evaluation method to successfully measure the current state of the program.

When that goal was met, the work could move forward.  BASG organized the flow of projects to support the strategic direction of the organization, developed both a budget and an operating plan and interfaced with high level management to report on progress and discuss issues encountered along the way.

Additional effort including writing funding proposals to guarantee uninterrupted delivery of service, ensuring goals were met in areas including execution, and the implementation and management of an organized change program.  Associated risks were anticipated, analyzed, and solved as needed.

 

THE RESULT

 What was learned in the initial evaluation was adopted and successfully implemented.  An improvement plan was outlined, and the organization could move forward confident that first steps had been taken on the long journey to improve the Payment Operations Model.
